Wiki Log In Problems

The most common reasons for wiki log-in problems are:

  • Forgotten or incorrectly entered user name or password. 

    • Click here to have your account information emailed to you.

    • If you do not receive an email after using the forgotten password feature you are probably entering a different email address in the box than the one you used to register for the wiki. If you have changed emails and do not remember which one you associated with your wiki account, then just register again and create a new account. It is also possible the account was purged if the emails began bouncing, so you can just re-register on the wiki and setup a new account.

  1. You may not have completed enough of the information fields when you registered and your account request may have been disregarded. If so, then just register again and create a new account.

  2. Your wiki user name is CASE SENSIITVE and you may have tried logging in with all caps or all lowercase letters.

    • If your wiki account was approved with user name: JohnDoe12345,
      then you CANNOT log in with johndoe12345

  3. You may or may not have included spaces in your user name when you tried to log in.

    1. If your wiki account was approved WITHOUT SPACES in your user name: JohnDoe12345,
      then you CANNOT log in with  John Doe 12345

    2. If your wiki account was approved WITH SPACES in your user name: John Doe 12345,
      then you CANNOT log in with  JohnDoe12345

  4. You are already logged in and you do not know it.

    • You can tell if you are already logged in by looking on the right hand menu.
      If it says LOG IN then you are NOT logged in.
      If it says LOG OFF then you are already logged in.

  5. You are already logged in and are trying to access a link to a page that you do not have access to.

    • You will see a message on the log-in page advising you that you do not have access to the page you are trying to access. You can tell if you are already logged in by looking on the right hand menu. If it says LOG IN then you are NOT logged in. If it says LOG OUT then you are already logged in.

  6. You may have registered multiple times with different email addresses and passwords and/or you may have now forgotten the corrent email address that you used with your user name when you registered. If you do not receive an email after using the forgotten password feature this is most likely the case. You are entering a different email address in the box than the one you used to register for the wiki. If so, just register and create a new account.
