As organizations grow and mature, they naturally develop more and more points of contact as more and more people become involved in the organization's management and operations. The U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® is no exception to this growth phenomenon as there are currently more than 50 Federation Officials, Headquarters staff, plus a multitude of Committees and individual members who are all actively contributing to the Federation's ongoing operations. Determining who to contact about a specific issue can be confusing. As organizations grow and develop into more regions, departments, committees, groups, etc. it may become less and less clear to an individual member (or outsider) about who to contact or which communication contact point they need to use when communicating with "The Federation." Further complicating communications within the Federation are fears among some potential "speakers" that they may rebuffed for what they say, others are inhibited to speak to a rank senior except when they are in agreement with the senior's perspective, still others hesitate "speaking" because they fear their question or input may seem "trivial," "silly" or "stupid." In less than five minutes you can learn about the communication channels that are provided for Federation members that can overcome almost all of the aforementioned challenges. Do you have a question and are unsure who to ask? Do you have a great idea but you are unsure who to tell? Do you have a compliment to share and would like for others to hear your words of praise? Do you have a problem, concern or complaint that needs resolving ad wonder who you need to direct your matter to for immediate attention? Have you previously submitted a great idea and received no response? Have you previously submitted a proposal and then heard no response about it? Have you previously made recommendations or suggestions and felt as if they were ignored? Do you sometimes wonder who you need to contact about a specific matter in order to get it resolved as quickly as possible? You can learn specific answers to these and many more questions in only a few minutes.
Participants will leave better informed about how to make your voice heard in your Federation. |
