I think this will be a great idea.  I also like the Choong Jik aspect that Sa Bom Nim Steyer suggested.  We would only need a center referee instead of five.

From PJSteyer - 2007-07-20

personally, i would be very interested in 4th and 5th dan sparring divisions.  if people are interested, i also had an unusual idea about how to ensure that it is a positive demonstration.  what about having the competitors acknowledge each other's points with a bow, as we do in class sparring?  i think that kodanja can be trusted to have the chung jik necessary to make this an event that demonstrates a high level of sparring skill along with an attitude of cooperation within competition.  thoughts?

From AlexBaran - 2007-07-05

Divisions are split, if necessary, either by age or sex, based upon number of competitors.

Member Inquiry:
Just a quick note to inquire whether or not the KDJ Yuk Dan division will be broken out by age this year?
Last year the group was combined compared to 2005 where the group was separated by age.
