The Federation's wiki currently features almost 4000 pages of current and historical information, photos, proposals and facts about virtually every official, activity, event, program, policy, etc. of the U.S. Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® and the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® as well as many other useful resources and information and is accessed on more than 75,000 times per month on average.
The wiki is the U.S. Federation's official central communication space in which to submit your recommendations, suggestions, comments, etc. on any matter related to your experience as a U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® member, Alumni, interested supporter and/or Federation expatriate or Moo Duk Kwan® expatriate.
The wiki is a flexible and dynamic real-time member collaboration tool; however, regardless of your rank in the art, new wiki users should anticipate an initially steep learning curve that is similar to the physical learning curve that faces us as students when we embark upon learning a new hyung. The reward of conquering the wiki's technology learning curve will be just as satisfying and beneficial in its own right as the satisfaction of learning new techniques and hyungs.
Some users report that they find the wiki "over-whelming" and others contend that it does not work or it is too complicated, etc.; however, the number of wiki users increases every month and wiki page hits average more than 65,000 per month, so if you are having difficulty with the learning curve of using the wiki feel free to request assistance by emailing wikihelp@soobahkdo.com.
How To Find Information On The Wiki -Watch a 50 second video
The wiki menu navigation structure shown in the video has since been upgraded, but the concepts are the same.
The wiki is an in-depth, ever growing and admittedly complex source of information which is a reflection of the in-depth, ever growing and complex nature of the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation®.
You are invited to actively add more information, modify wiki navigation links, participate in brainstorming, respond to requests for comments, submit your opinions via surveys, submit or evaluate proposals, join committees or workgroups, contribute to project development efforts, etc., and/or offer your comments and suggestions to support the work of others.
How To Use The Wiki
Additional reading about The Wiki Way and How To Use The Wiki may also help you to enjoy the best interactive wiki experience possible and you can post your own tips for others as you see fit.
Just as some material in our art is reserved for specific ranks, some of the wiki pages have restricted access for specific groups, projects, activities, etc. Should you click on a link to such pages you will be presented with a log in screen - even though you may already be logged in. Simply click your browser "back" button to continue viewing all other unrestricted pages.
Thank you for your active participation!
